"Nowhere to be" is a top-down, sound-based puzzle game where you play as Nothing, an invisible cat navigating through the map in search of Something. Using sound cues and a subtle "hot or cold" visual effects and text cues, you must traverse mini mazes while avoiding falling off, getting stuck or getting hit by an ambulance. This game explores the paradox of Nothing and Something fitting the theme by playing with absence, presence, and perception. The protagonist is Nothing, yet they are the player’s entire focus. The game mechanics challenge the instinct to constantly move and search. The environment, antagonist (Wrong), and puzzles reinforce this theme of contradiction and self-discovery. I hope you enjoy playing our game. <3
